Manitoba Motocross Association: Gimli Northern Lites Raceway

With the fall Provincial Championship series entering the later stages, fans were sure to be treated to some close battles all day long at Northern Lites Raceway in Gimli. Once again seeing the amazing progress this facility has made in two short seasons is a testament to the clubs desire to build one of the finest facilities in the country. |

It was a day of firsts for Jacob Gnidziejko in Gimli. Gnidziejko scored his first holeshot in the 65cc B class. That holeshot helped Gnidziejko to 4-6 finishes for fourth overall and his first ever trophy! |
|
|
|
|
|
Bev Bryce-Leger came out on top of a great battle in the Ladies class going 1-1 for the overall. Ami Houde and Jamie Burmey rounded out the podium. |
|
|
|
|
|
Keith Morrow grabbed his first top five of the series in the 125 Junior class with a 5-9 ride for fourth overall behind the podium of Stuart Brincheski, Pearce McKellar and Brenden Mitchell. |

|
|
|
|
After missing six weeks while recovering from a bout of mononucleosis Jaden Goerzen returned to the 125 Intermediate class in Gimli. Goerzen put in a 4-6 day for fourth overall. |

|
|
Enns Agri Yamaha rider Josh Shiskoski has quietly been having a strong season in 2007. Shiskoski took third overall in the 250 Pro class in Gimli behind the Westside Honda of Adam Pfeiffer and the gregscustom.com Suzuki of Nick Dunn. |

|
50cc 4-6 Class MMA Spring Provincial Champion Hunter Sexton took third overall in Gimli. Beating Sexton to the checkered flag was Ryan Kokorudz and Ryley Paterson. |

|
|
Dylan Mollot scored his first podium of the series in the Junior GP class. Mollot used 3-4 moto scores to take third overall behind Lindsay Masse and Brenden Mitchell. |

|
|
|
|
In the ATV Pro class Daryl Toews came away with the victory going 1-2 on the day. Sean Schrot and Chris Eyolfson followed Toews to the podium. |

|
|
|
|
Steven Saluk continued his unbeaten run in the ATV Beginner class at Gimli with another 1-1 day. |
|
|
|
|
|
Each week first year pro Aaron Pfrimmer appears to get more comfortable in the Pro class. The gregscustom.com Suzuki rider grabbed his third podium finish of the series with a third overall in Gimli. |

|
|
Nathan Wright took his first ever overall in the 50cc 7-8 class with a 1-2 ride. D.J. Burmey with a 3-1 day took second while the 2-4 finishes of Bryce Sexton were good for third overall. |
|
|
|
|
|
FXR owner Milt Reimer has been making more regular appearances of late on the MMA scene. Reimer took home second place money in the Vet Master class along with a fifth place payout in the 250 Intermediate class. |

|
|
|
Making only his second appearance of the fall series, Joel Kostuik managed a top five in the 85cc 12-16 class with a fourth overall. |
|
|
|
|
|
After missing almost three months due to injury, Jamie Wilson is getting back up to speed. Wilson took fourth spot on the day in the 250 Intermediate class with 3-3 finishes. Colin Cyr, Luke McFadden and Devon Ward filled the podium positions. |

|
|
With hockey season rolling around time is getting scarce for Lane Louttit and many of the other contenders in the 85cc 7-11 class. Louttit took second overall on the day behind class leader Rio Stoesz. Ty Shemko stood on the third step on the box. |

|
Four was the number of the day for Donald Fossay in Gimli. 4-4 finishes for fourth overall left Fossay just behind the podium of Ty Shemko, Ryan Linto and Jordan Devloo. |

|
|
|
Ashley Friesen made her first appearance of the season in the Little Ladies class count. Friesen posted 4-2 finishes for third overall. |
|
|
|
|
|
After suffering a broken leg in Raymond, Richmond Morin is hard on the gas once again. Morin added a true Supermini to the stable this week and promptly grabbed his first top five of the series taking fourth overall. Josh Pfrimmer, Garrett Graboweski and Jeremy Breemersch filled the top three spots. |

The 250 Beginner class has yet to see a repeat winner in the series, and that trend continued in Gimli. Marcus Wiebe scored his first overall victory going 1-1 while Dustin Osborne and Gary Phillips chased him to the podium. |
|
|
|
|
|
In only his second race aboard a big bike Dylan Boulanger made a podium appearance in the Youth B class grabbing third overall. |
